Air
to water exchangers are available in six different BTU outputs
ranging from 80,000 BTU up to 200,000 BTU. These exchangers
are designed and circuited for use with hot water. This application
works much like the heat in an automobile. Hot water is constantly
circulated through the coil which is located on your existing
forced air furnace. The fan on your furnace is then used to
blow air across the heated coil which is then distributed
through your existing duct work. The advantage to this system
versus your existing furnace is that this exchanger remains
hot and via convection the hot air naturally gravitates through
your duct work reducing the amount of cold air that is often
felt when a standard furnaces is in operation.

FlatPlate
brazed plate heat exchangers are designed and tailored specifically
for hydronic applications. Available in 40,000 BTU to 360,000
BTU these exchangers are perfect for Domestic Hot Water, Radiant
Floor, Spas and Swimming Pools, and Boiler Applications. The
plates are stacked for maximum use of the surface area and
to form two independent circuits running in alternate layers.
The two fluids flow in opposite directions to further enhance
the exchange of heat. Specially embossed stainless steel plates
increase the heat transfer coefficient and lower potential
fouling.

Next
to the furnace and underground pipe the circulator pump is
the next most important item in your system. Grundfos, Taco,
Bell & Gossett are just a few of the brand name pumps available.
No matter what brand name you choose you should consider bronze
construction. Unlike a indoor boiler which is a closed system,
many outdoor boilers are open systems, and are susecptable
to oxygen infiltration. Oxygen, water, and cast iron due not
make for a durable and dependable system. The next important
item to consider when choosing a circulating pump and GPM's
and head pressure. To maximize your exchanger BTU output use
this basic rule of thumb 1 GPM is required for every 10,000
BTU's of output. Example a 140,000 BTU exchanger requires
14 GPM's of 160-180 degree water to to be efficient. The second
important item is Head pressure, this is the amount of resistance
the pump must over come. This can be caused by size of supply
and return lines, length of run, and height from pump to highest
point of water circulation. Many customers and installers
try to save money by installing cast iron pumps, with no consideration
for GPM requirements or head pressure. This will inevitably
lead to premature pump failure and more importantly a system
that is not efficient.

Designed
for large open applications these unit heaters are great for
garages, work shops, and pole barns. Five different sizes
(40,000 BTU to 200,000 BTU) make it easy to find just the
right unit for any application. Some units are equipped with
speed adjustable motors giving you the ability to fine tune
the balance between performance and efficiency. Units use
110 volt thermostat. Thermostat and speed control are sold
seperately. |

These
units are designed for performance and flexibility. Units
can be installed in a up, down or horizontal air flow position.
Unit includes heat exchanger, filter, and filter rack. Available
in sizes ranging from 67,517 BTU to 237,010 BTU there is a
unit availabel to fit almost any requirement. Designed to
be used in place of a forced air furnace these units can be
equipped with air conditioning as well.

Kick
space-Recessed Wall Mount-Surface Wall Mount. When there is
not enough wall space to install baseboard radiation, install
The Kicker from Southeastern Heatmor. The compact Kicker provides
the heat output of up to 12 feet of baseboard, depending on
the model you choose. Sized to fit under cabinets or between
wall studs, the Kicker is simple to install and easy to operate.
An aquastat inside the Kicker automatically turns on and off
the fan, delivering a quiet flow of heat to the room whenever
the water is hot. A convient switch allows the user to set
the fan speed on high, low or off. The Kicker may also be
installed with it's own thermostat.

DOMESTIC
HOT WATER EXCHANGER
Designed to work with any standard hot water tank,
the spiral side arm exchanger is capable of providing
all of your domestic hot water needs. The unique spiral
tube and shell design produce turbulence which results
in a higher heat transfer with out ever coming in
contact with your domestic water supply. |
|
POOL
AND SPA EXCHANGER
Made of stainless steel these tube and shell exchangers
are designed for indoor and outdoor applications.
Available in sizes ranging from 45,000 BTU to 1,000,000
BTU these units are capable of heating a small hot
tub or a 40 X 60 pool and any where in between.
